1. Agreement of Services
By entering into an agreement with Home Comfort Essentials, the client acknowledges and agrees to the scope of work, design plans, and specifications finalized during the consultation and planning phase. All services provided will be carried out in accordance with the agreed design, materials, and structural guidelines. Any modifications requested after project commencement may result in additional charges and timeline adjustments.
2. Project Scope and Modifications
The project scope is clearly defined before work begins. Any changes, additions, or alterations requested by the client must be documented and approved through a formal change order process. These changes may affect the overall cost, materials, and project timeline, and will only be implemented after mutual agreement.
3. Financial Obligations
A deposit is required to initiate the project and secure scheduling. The remaining balance will be divided into milestone-based payments aligned with project progress. All payments must be made on time as per the agreed schedule. Delayed payments may result in temporary suspension of work until the balance is cleared.
4. Project Timeline
Estimated timelines are provided based on the scope and complexity of the project. While we strive to meet all deadlines, certain factors such as weather conditions, material availability, labor issues, or unforeseen structural challenges may impact the schedule. Home Comfort Essentials will communicate any delays promptly and work towards minimizing disruptions.
5. Permits and Compliance
Home Comfort Essentials will assist in obtaining necessary permits and ensuring compliance with local building codes and regulations where applicable. However, approval timelines are subject to local authorities and cannot be guaranteed. The client agrees to cooperate with any documentation or approvals required during this process.
6. Client Responsibilities
The client is responsible for providing accurate information, timely approvals, and access to the property during the renovation process. Any delays caused due to lack of access, decision-making, or incomplete information may affect the project timeline and cost.
7. Materials and Quality
We ensure the use of high-quality materials as specified in the agreement. In cases where selected materials become unavailable, suitable alternatives will be proposed for client approval. All workmanship is carried out with professional standards to ensure durability and satisfaction.
8. Warranty and Liability
Home Comfort Essentials provides a limited warranty on workmanship for a specified period after project completion. This warranty does not cover damages caused by misuse, natural wear and tear, or external factors beyond our control. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of our services.
9. Cancellation Policy
Either party may terminate the agreement under specific conditions. In case of cancellation by the client after project initiation, costs incurred for labor, materials, and planning will be deducted from the deposit. Any additional outstanding balance must be settled promptly.
10. Dispute Resolution
In the event of any disputes, both parties agree to attempt resolution through mutual discussion. If unresolved, the matter shall be handled through legal or arbitration processes in accordance with applicable laws and jurisdiction.
11. Acceptance of Terms
By proceeding with our services, the client confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions. These terms are designed to ensure transparency, accountability, and a smooth remodeling experience for all parties involved.
